FAQ

Frequently asked questions about KirokuKit

What is KirokuKit?

KirokuKit is a set of free browser tools that remove small chores around deadlines and business paperwork. The tool available in English is the Free Trial End Date Calculator. No sign-up is required — just open it in your browser.

How does the Free Trial End Date Calculator work?

Enter the service name, trial start date, trial length, renewal cycle (monthly or annual), the fee and the currency. The tool shows the date the trial ends, a recommended cancel-by date, and an estimate of what the subscription would cost if you keep it.

How do I get a reminder before my trial ends?

Download the .ics calendar file from the result screen and import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. Your calendar app sends the reminder at the time you set.

Which currencies are supported?

USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD and CAD. Pick your currency next to the fee field.

How far in advance can the reminder be set?

You can choose 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days before the trial ends. Your choice is written into the .ics file and your calendar app sends the reminder.

Does KirokuKit send emails or push notifications?

No. KirokuKit never sends emails or push notifications. All reminders are handled by your own calendar application after you import the .ics file.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The published tools work without an account. You do not need to enter an email address or a password.

Is it free?

Yes. The published tools are free and have no usage limits.

How is my input handled?

What you enter is not stored. We may record only anonymous usage events, such as which tool was used, to improve the service. These events do not identify you. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Do you guarantee that the results are correct?

No. The calculations are reference information only. Trial and billing terms differ by provider, so always confirm the exact dates and charges with the service you are subscribing to.

Are all KirokuKit tools available in English?

No. Some tools are built around Japanese bookkeeping practice and are published in Japanese only. Those tools are not listed on the English site because their interface and guidance would not be usable in English.
